Default My First Car - 99 AU - Dial up warning

Well I have finally gone out and bought my first car. She's a 6/99 AU Forte in oxford green. She originally had a nudge bar with rusty sportties on but they were removed on the first day of owning her. It has Kings Springs Lows in her with Ba Mk1 17's. It has a Pioneer DVD HU and 7 inch screen.

Here are some pics:

I am not to sure on the tail lights, as they were on it when i bought it so AU2/3 Tail lights may be making their way onto the car.

Oh and the mudflaps will be gone soon.

Cheers

Andrew

Car looks great. The colour coded mud flaps look reasonable - be careful when you remove them as the paint underneath may be severely rubbed, so you may in fact want to keep them on. Looks like it's been kept in good nick.

How much do you want for the nudge bar?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Mudflaps should be compulsory. Its just a common courtesy to your fellow falcon drivers on the road. I have rear ones. I need to get front ones too.

Got mudflaps on both my AU's. I hated the way mud got flicked up everywhere without them!

Depends on what you think they do to the lines of the car. I like them!

Nice car, great first car! Welcome to the forum!

Cheers,

GK

That green really suits the shape of the car - good one!!

Keep the mudflaps. They save your paint, particularly if you are, err, prone to traction loss... You might want to get the paint off them, as it will crack and peel when the mudflaps flex.

The taillights look pretty naff. Upgrade to AUII/III as you have suggested.

Apart from that, very nice!

My dads BA XR hasn't ever had them and it hasn't got any damage to the paint. If anything they do more harm than good to the paint by wearing through it.

Nice car, i reckon the AU's look pretty damn good in Oxford Green especially with a bit of colour coding (and AU2/3 clear indicators), plus it looks to be in good shape. Has it got a sports exhaust or is that just a fancy tip?

Great to see New South Welshman on the forums as well the mexicans have almost completely taken over.

New Tail lights fitted and a 100% improvement.

Wanna remove the spoiler and put a bobtail on instead. Either AU1 Classic or T1.

Looks great.. leave the kit off it and just go the T1 bobtail.. will look very nice! Also have you thought about getting coloured numberplates? or even white ones? The yellow ones stand out like dogs balls..
