Default 3000-Km Complementary Service

So I had my Fiesta serviced this morning. I brought it to Cumberland Ford, Blacktown (the dealer where I bought it from). The customer service seems excellent, the people were courteous(spelling?).

I asked them to change the oil and oil filter. I brought the Castrol EDGE 5W-30 with me and asked them to put that into the car.
The engine is noticably smoother, smoother response and NVH level is improved. So I know that Castrol EDGE 5W-30 is better than whatever oil Ford used on their brand new Fiesta.

I hope that fuel economy improves, but it wouldnt be much i reckon.

What is EDGE worth? I didn't get get the oil changed at 3k but I think I'll do it myself now it's about to hit 5k. My seems to idle a bit rough, I've tried changing where I fill up, but no difference. Would changing to a good oil help?

Worth a try

I got a 5-litre Castrol EDGE 5W-30 for $45-46.
