Default Help using to much fuel

I have a 96 xh xr6 ute. The only modification that i have done is a 2.5 inch sports system. I was getting good mileage upuntil about 3 months ago when the exhust was changed due to an accident. It is still 2.5 inch system but I dont know what type of muffler is being used. The cat converter has also been replaced in the insurance job.

I was getting about 450-470km per tank and know it is down to 350-380.

Help please..

Gday mate

Could be a variety of reasons...i'm not sure just the exhaust change would make that much difference to fuel economy. Has anything else been changed?

As a side note, it would be better for you to register onto the forums so that you can access the whole site

As you can only view the main forum section for the moment I'll give you a chance to register before it's moved to the ute section later on, out of the site support section which is for website issues/comments

cheers
