How do you remove the inhibitor switch on the AU Transmissions? I can get the 2 wiring plugs off and the 2 8mm bolts.
But can work out how to get the switch itself off. Any suggestions? I dont want to break it. |

I'm guessing your talking about the 'econ/power' switch on the bottom left of the t-bar? |

You're doing it right, it's just two bolts holding it in as you said, but the shaft in the centre tends to rust a bit over time and bond itself to the plastic making it hard to take off.
Just have to pry it off as straight as possible but be very careful. Once you do get it off, make sure you sand down the the rusty shaft so when you slide the switch back on (or a new one) it goes on smoothly and easily. |
