Talking AUfalcon.com Club Trailer....

Alright yes yes i know it sounds exciting!

I want to get a club trailer happening here!

Im thinking that back of a ute with a canopy on top, with G&D sposned on it and AUfalcon writing everywhere!

But we would need funding or donations and time from people to make this work, or else it's not going to work!

Cheers

aufalcon isnt a "club" as such though is it? i.e., where would you actually have use for a trailer?

i guess it also depends on what you actually use the trailer for...ie a portable bbq, etc. or if it's just to advertise aufalcon.com and ford forums

aufalcon.com isnt an official club, nor will it ever be. The idea is a good one however it would have to be something that people wanted to do as there is no "official" side to it like the FPV/Tickford or Eseries clubs.
There is no membership fees, no official positions, no financial statements and no elections in aufalcon.com. Its never been run that way nor will it be.
All aufalcon.com was ever set up to do was to give like minded AU owners a "banner" to congrigate under and to be part of. Its a very open and casual setup with people coming and going as they please and, because of this, having "property" like a trailer is not really practical.

Therefore, while happy to have one, it would have to be up to the individuals involved to purchase and equip it and, at any time, this could also be taken away by the same individuals without notice or need for reason.

Whoever owns the trailer will do this of their own will. If people "donate" to get the trailer going then they have to be aware that someone will still have to "own" it. It will never be owned by aufalcon.com as it is not an "entity" in its own right.

He's a very excitable fella. I'd like to help out, but I removed my AU Falcon stickers from my car about 6 weeks ago, so I guess this means I'm not eligible for the ""club"". :

Good luck Simon. Your best bet is to fully fund this yourself and then you can sponsor your own advertisement.

stickers do not a club make.

Basically anyone who has, had or wants an AU is part of aufalcon.com.. they may just choose not to know, care or acknowledge it. Simplest way to put it.

I'd give a dollar. Only 1000 more "members" required! I assume for my $1, I'll get a share of the trailer use up here in Canberra?

cant see the value in this when the club is spread all over the country and there are minimal "club" (used losely) events held where it would be used.

but heres one i prepared earlier...

Red face

Au Falcon is more of a Hypernode for the gatewau to FordForums , Whilst im all for us AU People sticking together , were not really a Club , Were Just a 'Art Lovers' and people that give help and credit where its Due

If your Car isnt Tickford Spec , An XR or FPV Enhanced , you might find it Hard to Conform and belong to a Club ,

So before the Whole Trailer thing goes ahead , consider if you want to Invest the Time , Passion and have Utmost Commitment to a Cause , Set Up a Club , Im all for Support , but the People that are on the BOD if you would , should be Forumers that have been on for ages ,

Another Hint would be to Have one Member as a GOTO for Each State , VIC , TAS , NSW , QLD , SA ,

Its a Pipe Dream , But it could Happen ,

Donate your Money to Something more Worthwile ,

Cheers

Daniel
