Default Is it still the height of a coke can ?

Just wondering what the legal limit is for lowering these days , i can't remember the exact limit is 'mm' from years ago , but i remember it was something like ...... the lowest part of the car / exhaust / spoiler / whatever / could be no lower than the height of a coke can , in other words it should be possible to stand a can of coke up under the car at its lowest point , is it still the same rule these days ? cheers

100mm with other rules governing min height to the centre of your lights etc.

edit - Ground clearance, not how far you can lower it lol.

there's a bunch of rules for lowering a car- even down to speciffics of 2/3 of the original bump stop clearance etc. the 100mm must be at the lowest point of the vehicle with all seating positions filled or cargo loaded.

not that I care- mines 60mm under the diff with fuel and just me......

It's about 100mm in Victoria, which is about the size of a coke can (~95mm).

I thought it was with a normal load (which means 3 people and 3/4 tank of fuel)

Cheers

It is 100 mm but also as mentioned, suspension travel has to be taken into account, you can't just lower to 100 mm and loose more suspension travel than allowed and be legal
