I am also planning on putting 20's on my AU and have been told of no problems with fitment... The only problem being the over all diameter of the tyre, apparently you are allowed to go upto 15mm bigger than your original overall diameter but 20's with the right size tyres on them are 16mm larger than the original overall diameter. So for the sake of 1mm im still putting 20's on my car cause they just look soo damn hot, hahaha.

the larger the rim-the smaller the tyre isnt it..so in reality a 20in rim with 20-25 series combo would be same size as 16 in rim and 65-70 series tyre.If that wasnt the case the speedo would be out. Please throw rotten vegies at me for my stupidness if the coments I have made are outlandishly ignorant.

They should look great. But insurance might be a hurdle. I think most allow 19" for AU's without penalties.

i have seen a AU fairlane with 20" vault crystals on it and it looked like it fitted fine
and a BA isnt that much different? and theres lots of those with 20s..so i dont see a problem?? as long as offset and everything is correct..u shouldnt have a problem.. |

Most insurance now allow +2 on the largest diameter fitted to the range. Fortunatly for us, the T3 is an AU and had 18" factory rims... so 20" is allowed in most cases.
