G'day all, i am currently doing a convertion on my sons mrk2 cortina we have put a 2lt pinto motor in it and was wondering if anyone here knows were i should start with getting some headers for it. I am not sure what model car the motor came out of so the local exhust bloke doesn't know were to start.it has a shitty old pair of extractors on it now and they are a really bad fit as they are hitting the steering box and gearbox mount so they wouldn't be the best thing too model a new set off. Any ideas would be most welcome thanks ...Craig

there is a difference between escort & cortina extractors
- grwwalker, if your extractors are hitting the alternator my first thought would be to look at what brackets are being used.... every pair of extractors I have seen are fairly constant in the alt area... but if they are hitting the steering as well - you guys might need to do a swap lol |

Either Pacemaker or Genie make extractors for the Pinto but your exhaust bloke should be able to source then easy enough
about $390-00 Les |
