Default getting regrind cam

hi i am looking into getting a regrind cam for au was just wondering if the ef one would be either ok to put in whilst au is getting ground down or the ef one will be ok to get ground also will ef shims fit an au
just i have a spare ef engine sitting here

put the EF rocker gear in with the cam. Should be sweet then

is it a should be sweet or it will be sweet as i dont want to waste the money on getting the regrind if it aint going to work

So you have an AU and an old EF spare engine complete yes?

If so you do have enough parts to fit the EF cam to the AU head using all the EF rockers and posts etc.

I wouldn't bother unless you are really keen though. Just pay the extra deposit on the return of the old cam.
