hi everyone, i'm a newbie here, just wondering how much of a pain in the butt it is to change the light globe that lights up to tell you what gear the auto is in? the car is a AU3 SR..
do i have to pull much of the console a part? hopefully it is a 30 second job.. thanks -tim |

Nope , Whole Center Console Comes out , thent the Gear Knob , then the Bulb is a Simple Twist .
Easy , maybe a 8 minute job .. Daniel

Lift up the Drink holder rubber , and the Rubber under your CD Player , Theres 2 Bolts in there , theres a Screw behind the Gear knob , 2 screws near the Seat Rails and Roberts your mothers father , liftoff !

You can do it the lazy way too. Keep the gear knob on, pull it back to '1' and manouvre the console around pulling pack on an angle. Then again, 2 mins to pull the knob off and back on.

Make sure when you pull back the console you pull it up and back (towards the top of the rear window). Ive actually seen someone wrestle with one of these for about 15 mins before i stopped laughing long enough to tell him.
