A relative of mine tells me she has been offered an attractive deal on a Fiesta Metal.
As I understand it, the Metal is a 2012 WS, made in Germany, with some little enhancements including tinted glass. My question here concerns the aircon. The aircon on the WS was clearly designed for Icelandic summers. Is the Metal's climate control adequate for Australian conditions? |

Yep! We have one!! Picked 'ZIA' up in October 2012.
It is my girlfriends car - but we both love it!! Great little car - handles, stops and sounds great!! A/C is great I reckon and we had it all summer and I never remember being uncomfortable - it did get better after we tinted the windows (as expected). Let me know if you wanna know anything else..  I would be interested to know what the 'attractive deal' was?

Just re-read your post... There are more than a 'few extras'.
Its got 98kw motor (8kw more than standard), leather interior, heated seats, climate control, 17" black rims, projector headlights, electrochromatic mirror, auto headlights and wipers. |

I wasn't told and so didn't ask for the details on the deal.
I suspect it has to do with the trade-in being offered on her 4-year old Mazda 3. |

I have a Metal, As mentioned the climate control is very effective, 16 degrees and low settings, I also have my windows tinted (Including top windcreen strip) which helps but also matches the rear privary glass ( 18%, Metallic).
Great cars, highly recommended.
