It also seem to happen either just after it rains orr when its rainin. Its only happened once before. I left it for an hour and went out when i come back it had stop. Probably is shorting out somewhere, seeing i get a wet right foot when it rains

Does it sound like your normal alarm but at a higher pitch?

If that's the case it sounds like you got water in it (from the rain) and it might be shorting out

i had the same problem of water coming in the drivers side footwell today. it was like a swimming pool in there! (i have a ute with the rubber floor)
i dropped in at the wreckers and he suggested that take off the wipers and the plastic covers from under them and clean out all the gunk because that can clog the drainage holes. I did this and after pouring water on it heaps of times it seems to be all dry again!

This might fix the problem for good.

I did that not long ago. It did slow it down a tad but still there.

It may have to be removed from the engine bay.Try loosenning the mounting screws and turn it upside down to try and let the water out. It may be fix it.Failing that carefully remove the whole thing to let it die out.Tape a rag to it to shut it up.

OK, but how come the alarm comes from in the cab, not outside like my usual alarm does?

cheers

Holy ghost!! Does your normal alarm sound inside the cabin? If there is no alarm siren inside then you may have an internal cabin water leak going onto something else..

No, my normal alarm sounds from under the bonnet. Theres a siren near the firewall. The alarm sounding last night was coming from inside the cab. Under the dash. Im aware that theres a leak in the cabin, everytime it rains water runs down my leg lol

Thanks

Could be chattering relays from water mate.

Could be an internal screamer siren inside the car.
These are usually so loud they hurt your ears and make any thief think twice about getting into your car.
Just look up under the dash for a small siren.
