The 'diagnostic' tools are just a fancy term for a small device and it's pretty standard across all makes. Just give a locksmith a call and find out (not the pete's multi shopping centre key cutters)

Ok I'll look into the locksmith - had a bit of a scare on the weekend as I couldn't find my keys until this morning.

Also anyone know if a 17 inch spare wheel will fit into the WS? Or is the spare wheel well only big enough for the space saver spare?

And how much would I be able to offload my 15" steel wheels with tyres for?

Hi everyone, New Fiesta owner. Can anyone help with this problem?

Just driven my new fiesta WT diesel (purchased second hand from dealer still under warranty) at night.

On return home turned car off. Lights dimmer off except those on the instrument cluster - speedo, tacho, also hazard backlight still on and date, time display. It did not go out when I closed the door but all went out when I locked the car. All came on again when I unlocked the door the next day. What am I doing wrong? Could it be a quirky fault.

Thanks Donna

Don't worry that is what they are designed to do, if you don't lock the car they go off after a few minutes.

.

Thank you Imolator for your reassuring advice. Just tested it and it did turn off. Took 10 mins to do so though.

Cheers

Not sure how old this topic is but buy the remote from ebay code it yourself. Cost me $35 for the ws remote and I coded myself. Very easy to do
