You can buy Chrome pipe from Truck Bits in Dandenong Sth for about $90 -$100 for about a meter long.......

Or go you can get stainless steel pipe and polish it

We are not sure which way to go, being costs involved etc with the piping.
Leaning more towards Stainless Steel at the moment

There is also Aluminum coated steel

The MAF on V8's will bolt up no worries? Could the stock pipe work be retained?

You'll need a pod adapter Dan, easy and cheap to buy/make.

This looks terrific! Very well done, i've been after something like this for a while that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Reading what has been posted so far I am guessing there is no full kit available for the au's at the moment?

Yeah, thats my question, i know JimT3Te tired a BPR/G&D style airbox's in his T3 before he sold it and said that it was stuggling to get enough air, though he had 300rwkw IIRC

Your airboxes are at a great price Aly. Almost looks like my G&D airbox but a hell of a lot cheaper that's for sure! I'd be VERY interested in one of these for Rspecs XR8 & in some results on using these on the AUXR8'S

Be great if you could keep us all posted on the R&D on these.

Krissy.

Will the setup (piping) be much different for a V8 AU? And if so will you make one for both the I6 and V8?

Does anyone know if the performance of these is similar to the G&D boxes? very interested, always good to save a buck here and there and they look really good. do you have a business address/number or r they only sold on ebay?

Just been talking to the supplyer about a group purchase of theses units .they are still sorting the piping out for a kit but could be able to do something for us on the box and filters ... Not quite as good as a G&D box but less than 1/2 the price its worth looking at imo.
So give me a couple of days to sort it out and I will get back to you all..

Rite O , just got off the phone from the man. they will price them up for me some time next week, both with and with out the filters. they use Fram Air Hog washable with the kits, both with 3 1/2" and 3" inlet, they are the same cost. HOWEVER they have no plumbing available for the i6 or V8 AU currently so you would have to do this yourself either with mandrel bent exhaust pipe, stainless, or PVC pipe. what ever your budget allows. I will be posting a "EIO" thread in the group buy section when I have the prices and will probably need at least 10 orders to get a fair discount so keep eye out for that thread ..
Regards Whoosha
