Saving $150.56 on my Ranger's insurance renewal.
Gotta love (not) the dance insurance companies play. Lure you in with a good price, increase slightly the next year before going in for the kill in year three. Happens like clockwork. With four cars to insure, this gets old changing insurers so often.

We had that option when my father was expiring, but also there was a bunch of disability parking spaces and they are not metered. One lung should get you a mobility permit for certain.

Thanks blokes, in there 2 hrs, need more tests apparently, seems this stuff is a bit hard on the liver?
He's worried about my past drinking, I said I drunk beer and UP rum not kerosene, lol. Dident tell him about the whisky and OP rum, but I was diagnosed with cirrhosis when I was 36 yrs old? The Northern Territory does that eh. Have applied for disability parking, just waiting now. Big thank you though for your kind words and thoughts Cheers Humble Billy. |

We never ripped up parking tickets or attacked credit cards then and we wont be doing it now.

An architect client is nextdoor to a concrete pour which started at 6:30AM and is still going (burned slab finish with a helicopter). North Shore Sydney; someone will surely call the police on them soon.

My 'little' girl turns/turned 16 today. Man I feel old.
But happy that she's blossoming into a considerate, affectionate, respectful, helpful young lady.

Cheers, CB. I can't take credit for all of it. it's a team effort: her mum, her grandparents, her aunts and uncles, her friends, her teachers.....

I had been dealing with this issue where the error message I was getting didn't make any ****en sense.
I thought for sure it was the right username coming through and all the table entries were correct in SAP. We turned on all this tracing and there was nothing there. So I ended up going back to my dev VM and coding some real low level tracing. The service account was what I thought it was so was like WTF? And after all that I thought I wonder if it were case sensitive. I asked the security team to convert it to upper case as a last roll of the dice and BAM! Problem solved thank **** |

My Cat and the Crow!
My unit is in a row of 8, all inline and facing the road, all of the units are connected, each pair has a double driveway and double 2 car carport. This morning at 7am I go to get morning paper by car, its a daily ritual, I also take cat biscuits outside and put them next to my front left wheel but 50cm distant. So I start my car and pull out and can see cat come back to biscuits, we have a resident crow in our street and any biscuits left I just throw in driveway, the crow plods around picking em up. But, I get back from shop, dident take my phone today, bummer, I pull up to back in from road and my cat lifts its head to look, and no bullsh.t the crow is a metre behind the cat pacing back and forth waiting for the cat to finish so he can get leftovers, lol, my bloody cat was totally oblivious to the crow, its his nemesis, but he's to smart for him, and it was a once in a lifetime photo opportunity lost to posterity!... And it made me feel better than good, it was a cracker seeing this crow pacing behind my cat! Cheers Billy |

Seeing my nephew and niece enjoying being kids again. They live in the states where things are a bit more free now. Getting lots of photos from them on group camps and stuff really makes my day.
Issue command "DELETE from <tablename>" and make everyone happy

After a couple of stormy weekends its sunshine and 20 degrees here today.
Couldn't decide which car to cruise up the coast so I've taken them both out

Went to the beach this afternoon to soak up some rays. Nice as no crowds and little trouble finding parking.

The Vet who gave up her Friday evening early last year to save my little buddy came through the shop today.
Having the chance to thank her, after the dust had settled, made me happy today. Earlier, doing a delivery, I was greeted by a gorgeous golden Cocker Spaniel, leaping up pats as if she had been waiting for me to arrive.

Waking up at 4am thinking it was cold and another overcast day ahead, far from it, not only has it been sunny and probably 20 degrees, but my neighbour and friend Brooke turned up, her cat brought home another rat during the night, my cat shows then eats, her cat shows then let's go, lol, in her bedroom during night.
Asked if I could come and get it out, this is the 42 yr old size 6 girl who bathed me when I got out of hospital! She had black short short cut-offs and white singlet, minus bra, I said you dident have to wear that just to get me to remove ya rat, and she said I just threw em on, and added I'm nude sunbathing in the back yard!.... Dident find rat, looked for a good hour, she just kept sunbathing! She's a pretty laid back lass, and knows I'm impotent, but I did mention that my eyes still worked, said I needed help washing my back again, she said I bought you a backbrush, its in the bathroom!.. Now that made me happy today! Cheers Bug-eyed Billy! Last edited by slowsnake; 15-08-2021 at 06:38 PM. Reason: Add bit |

A good friend had been stitched up by a crooked local councillor and his police mates.
The case was down for mention this morning, my friend has spent the last 6 weeks in remand on false charges. Well the police prosecutors turned up in court with no brief, no information, nothing, nada so after the judge ripped them a new one, he told my friend she could go home today! |

Now i dunno if this is anything new, rocket surgury, brain science or anything intelligent. But my local italian joint does pretty epic vegitarian pastas. Issue being, i like meat. Swapping pasta for beef tortellini, that works. Best of both worlds.

Glad your friend is out. Will they no-bill it so there’s no clawing back defence costs to date? A neighbour was stitched up years ago by police on a mission, it completely and permanently ruined his life.

Got a problem in a 4HP18 box, 2-4 band not applying and fluid weeping past the piston cover - either apply piston is stuck or the band failed. Thought I’d check my scrap pile box in case there was anything inside it not rusted to the max. Entire servo piston in perfect condition, still bathed in D-II, so if it’s not a broken band I’m good to go.
