Default Anyone Interested in 3000km old Slotted+Pads

Hey all im thinking of selling my Front brake setup, it has DBA Slotted rotors, Bendix pads, Twin piston calipers painted go fast red and the brackets to suit caliper.
They have only done 3000kms and are in perfect condition and they dont shudder or make any noises.

DBA Slotted+pads $190
Twin piston cal and brackets and rubber brake hoses $95 (red)

All came off of a AU11 XR8.

Now i havent taken these off yet im just seeing if there is any interest, they will most likely be off next weekend if time goes well.

Shaun.

hey shaun, i may be interested if you still have these up for grabs in a few weeks. i have no confidence in the standard setup on my car at the moment. these would obviously stop a lot better than what i have now, how hard is it to change over?

Do you already have the twin piston setup? being a au2 it should, but the discs are easy, once the caliper is off (2 bolts) you basically just slip the disc off and put on new slotted disc, now as i said the pads are 3000kms old but when i take them off they will be kept matched to each side of the disc that they came from or you could just buy new pads but at $190 you cant go wrong. +$95 if you want the red calipers with black brackets.

Hey guys AUII falcon and AUIIXR8 front and rear brakes are the same?

The slotted rotors would help but red paint wont make it stop any better.

red makes it go that little bit faster, lol. For 95 there cheap enough for spares.

2001 AUII George, just like your SR. If the calipers are exactly the same, then i think i will just get myself a new set of slotted disks on my next service and see how they feel.

Yes, instandard form they are the same. There was an upgrade option for the XRs, but this is not them. Slotteds will make a noticeable difference to brake performance.
