Adam (Falkeen) is one person that I know of that has done this to his ute. It needs to be done if the AWC Bulged bonnet is fitted.

What's wrong with the AU squirters? I love 'em. Four direct streams of water. Spaced evenly over the windscreen for maximum effect.
What is the difference between AU and BA squirters? Even the EL squirters were good!

BA squirters work well when they decide to work ... get blocked very easily though and don't work most of the time.
My AU squirters reach more of the windscreen than the squirters on my Territory ... have had Ford clear out the filter in the washer bottle twice and unblock the fine jets on the Territory under warranty. No such issue with the AU.
