Well just an update, the black manual XR8 ran like a dog. It was pinging, backfiring and felt gutless, it also only had 10 weeks reg left on it and the tyres were only just roadworthy. The dealer didn't want to really know about the problems and refused to give me tyres or rego in the deal so I told him that for that amount of money he could keep it. On the upside i've found another AUII XR8 220. This time it's a red auto one, premo sound but no leather or sunroof here's a link clicky

What it doesn't say in the ad is that it has a larger MAF, Herrod intake plenum, Full herrod exhaust, mild herrod cams and I also believe larger injectors. That's under the bonnet done it also has full pedders suspension and 18" BA XR8 rims. The thing absolutely HAMMERS!!!!

Well I just paid the deposit on the red AUII XR8 and I get to pick it up next Tuesday or Wednesday depending on my bank (slow buggers). It passed its pre purchase inspection with flying colours, a few little things but the inspector was really picky about little thing, which I liked. That said the dealer has now said that everylittle thing that was faulted will be fixed. So I am one happy little camper. I will post up some pics once I have it.
