what a bad run I am having with my 2001 Ford Falcon Futura Classic. For those of you following my posts you can see how frustrated I am with the car. Wednesday I was broken down on the highway had cruise control set to 110 then lost power car had to be towed to a mechanic. was put on computer and coil pack was at fault. got coil pack replaced in 24hrs and $302.00 later plus cost of 2 night acoomadation and 48hr car hire. car hire and accomadation was paid for via RACQ as I have ultra Care. Havent even done 5000km in this vehicle which i bought on 10 August 2007. Rang office of fair trading and car yard is reimbursing me the $302.00.
plus since the mechanic has fixed the coil pack know i get a vibration in steering wheel when i turn at shopping centr car parks and corners. Ford told me today that the vibartion will dissapear within 4-5 days as the power steering fluid can get air into it when its on hoist. if vibration still in steering wqheel next friday i have to ring ford back. anyone else had this prob? |

: how the fuc* can the power steering get air into it when its on a hoist? if the lid was opened on the ground or 37,000feet up if it was on a plane then maybe but the vibration is normally an air lock or it could be one of the hoses. anyway good luck getting your money back
