Default Focus steering sound

Hi All,

I picked up a 4th gen Focus (Oct 2019 build) about a week ago.

It's done around 17,000 kms.

In the last few days it seems to have developed a strange sound (like metal on metal) when you turn left (all is normal when turning right).

- it only happens once the car is warmed up (doesn't happen when I turn left our of my driveway)
- happens under braking and acceleration
- even happens when going straight through a roundabout (<90 degrees turn)
- seems ok when in reverse

Does anyone have an idea as to what this might be?

Thanks!
