Default carby help!

i jus bolted up a 32/36 weber onto my 1600 x flow, but the linkage doesnt work, the original linkage wants to the opposite way of the carby throttle. any help would be appreciated.

the reason is the carby is used to being on the only side on the motor on the 2lt, Swap over to a cable - a new bracket will need to be fabricated if my memory serves me correctly
