I like those style rims. That is why i went with the RJR Blades. Similar style. I've seen them on Ebay in 19's and have considered a few times putting in a bid. But I have a stripe package to get first and my Blades are just fine. I think regardless of whether you have 17's, 18's, 19's or 20's it doesn't matter. As long as your happy, then thats all that matters. Plus your paying less for 17" rubber and get longer life out of 17's than someone like me with 19's.

And wheile we are at it guys, please lets keep it on topic. I don't think Onfire set the thread up for a debate on why AUXR8 got 17's and not 19's

Thanks for that Dwane
In the end it was my choice and my choice only (don't mention this to the wife : ) and why go to the expense of ditching near new GSD3 tyres at $300 ea I don't think so
I am happy with the wheels and that is all that matters my car - my choice it is parked in my garage no one elses.

Alan
PS Back on topic get what ever you want for your AU you can not please all of the people all of the time just some of the people some of the time - we are just giving you choices on what to buy whether it be a 16" wheel right thru to a 20" wheel in the end it is you that parts with the hard earned folding stuff no one else

You can get 18" rim and tyre packages for around $1400 now. 17" packages for around $1000. Given the choice, I'd go 18" (and did). The price difference between tyres is less than $50 per tyre, depending on brand, of course.

Series 1 Tickford 17's still look the best IMO. They suit the car, and exude class. The wings are great too!

Tyres are cheaper too, and as has been said here before, insurance companies are ok because they are a factory option.

There's my 2 bob worth!

Mine are in my avatar pic. They're 17's and they're Akuza Seige's.

Your avatar pic doesn't exactly look like a wheel to me.
