Hi my name is lee
Im new to the forum so i hope this is the right area to post in. Im looking at spending $22000 - $25000 on a 2003 - 2005 xr6 supercab ute with hardtop leather trim and manual. Im just wondering if there are any common problems with that series of car ? I know its a problem a novice question but I just thought id start here. Thanks |

I haven't got an XR6, I've got a 2004 XR8 ute. The diff was replaced 2 months after buying it, the auto has a slight whine in 1st and 4th, the door lock actuator went, the brakes clunk every now and again. Other than that its a great car and has never caused me a problem. If you get a 2005 model it will still be under waranty so you should have no probs.

welcome to AFF, but you are better off posting this in another section rather than the AU section, as you are after a BA ute :P
