hey guys snapped my diff in my mk2 1975 esky,
wondering if anyone knows if mk1 diffs fit in or any other make and model diffs. thanks heaps |

1.6 or 2 Litre ?? do ya wanna keep the same diff ratio ??
Mk2 Ford Escort Sedan and Van - 2.0 litre - Auto and Manual . . 3.54:1 Sedan and Van - 1.6 litre - Auto and Manual . . 3.77:1 how did u damage it ?? Are u runnign standard set-up, or do u need a stronger diff, i heard of using a shortened ford 9-inch if you need a striong diff. Hope this helps |

yeh they do fit but all so early model hilux diff's fit as well

Hilux diffs are the exact same width. You just have to swap over the mounting points and modify the axles. A friend has just fitted a RX7 diff in his Escort with rear discs for about $650....Looks like a good option to prevent hitting the "invisible dog."
