Default side door moulds

hi, would anyone know how to remove the side door moulds on an AU 2.
I need to remove one of mine on the rear because the end near the front door has lifted and bent.
thanks

I am not completely sure but I think they are just glued on, so maybe try a heat gun/hair dryer, but be very carefull not to get the pannel/paint to hot, allway's move the gun around and don't stay in the one area.

Fairly sure you're right. Keep in mind that they do have holes behind them so you probably wouldn't want to leave them off and use the car in weather etc.

when my painter swaped mine for the BA ones i think he said there were two screws from inside the door through said holes? May be wrong though. I'd pop the door trim off and have a look first to be sure before you start pulling at them...

They're a combination of the tape and bolted on, access by removing your door trims.

yeah there are definitely holes under them and the moulds have plugs or tabs or whatever you want to call them but they dont really do anything to attach them at all they are probably just there for alignment its the glue that holds them on
