Hi All
Great forum for a great motor vehicle, does any one know or have a set of factory 17" wheels? The best the dealer could do was $1850 that included trading the 16teens which I think is a bit high, they are an accessory not an option. The wheels are similar in price from Ford spare parts.

They retail for $1740 + tyres, + Steering rack limiter (part and labour) - which makes them an expensive set.
I didn't want to lose the turning circle so am happy with 16's. The 17's look awesome though

They are overpriced in Europe, the US and China. You could look at importing them for the UK but it's a lot of hassle and you won't save a hell of a lot of money. Aftermarket is the best option! However, the cost your dealer gave you is shocking. Buy them from the spare parts division, sell your 16" rims online (you can get around $600) and automatically the rims now become a much more reasonable $1100 (based on the $1740 you should pay for them, no more that that as that's the price on Fords website)
Good luck.

You could get a nice set of aftermarket wheels for that price, that's what I'd be doing personally.
Wheelking have a couple of options for the Fiesta .. http://www.wheelking.com.au/Wheels/t...1/Default.aspx |

Thanks I am trying to keep the car as original as possible, it has been fully accessorized including leather trim except for the wheels, I like the look of the focus 18's as well but there 5 stud. I have found adapters in eur but ??? on there use. I also found a wheel from REDS that looks cool, similar to the focus wheels.

It's an accessory, all dealers offer it, Doyle s leather, they do most of the dealer upgrades if leather was not originally fitted, anyway that's what I was told. I will take some during the week, It was worth every cent

I went to 3 dealers in Sydney and when I asked about leather they said no problem they yet it done at Doyle s one of then had also another trimmer. It's documented on my dealer invoice, they also give 3 years warranty. You can go to Doyle's directly, I contacted them for my XR 8 they said they could do it in a day, once you sort out the pattern and the colour.
Here are some photos,

Hey TerryK. Can I ask how much this cost you and get a close up of the seat, just some bigger snaps of the pictures above if you don't mind? I think this looks really nice, not far off the leather offered in Europe as a factory option.
I personally went to about 10 or so Ford dealers before settling on Pacific Ford on the Sunshine Coast. They were great, but even they didn't offer this. Thanks for the pictures

I've got the 16" zetec rims and I'm spraying them black in the next few weeks. That's my economy idea.

Terry just curious... On those photos with the leather seats, I noticed that the door trims didnt have any new leather inserts to match the new leather seats... Is that an extra cost or do they not offer those as an upgrade?
Cheers |
