Gday,
Rebuilding my mk2 front calipers. About to place my new pads in which are EBC greens. The greens came with some adhesive shims that you stick straight onto the back of the pad. My question: Once the adhesive shims are on, do i still need to retain the original metal shims or are they not necessary? Perhaps they assist with applying uniform pressure to the pad. Thirty years has made the originals a bit distorted and the coating has mostly peeled off. |
