Damn ticking!!!

My AU has this damn ticking noise coming from the front when it's running.

It is coming from under the passenger side headlight, it sounds like it's behind the bumper or up under the front edge of the wheel-arch.

A had a guy have a quick look at it, and he reckons it was coming from a black box under there, which he suggested could be some sort of vacuum controlled box or possibly the ABS module??? Who knows...

Anyone have any suggestions or know what this is?
