Some of you may know where I work, and I come across alot of aviation photos during my time there. I have grabbed some of the finer, the more strange, and the more forgettable moments...
Let's start of with the nrew Airbus A380. It's had alot of attention lately, and here's some more for it. Spectacular photography of tailstrike testing... ![]() ![]() What happens to old WW2 transports (looks like a Curtiss C-46 Commando to me) when they no longer fly? They get put in the water! ![]() Arresting hooks – a fundamental part of landing a fixed wing aircraft on an aircraft carrier. Also good for catching aircraft rolling off the edge of the deck. ![]() Testing the strength of impact-resistant walls for the construction of important buildings – this F-4 Phantom completes its tour of duty. ![]() More to come… |
