Ok so i noticed i was dripping coolant a week ago, only a drop here and a drop there, so i went over all the Tubes and tightend everything up and then.. a day later it got worse.. was driving to work and my coolant light came on so i put some coolant in on my way home from work (had spare in the boot for some bazzar reason) and now i drive to work and back and when i get home im back to having the coolant light on
i stoped off at my local Radiator specialest on my way home from work today and he told me i had a hole in the top right (Passanger side) of my radiator he said its a common problem in the origional Ford Radiators, and quoted me $285 for a new radiator fitted.. some metallic core or somethingZ the part is $220 and labour $65 is that a good price or should i go else where ? i can actually see the crack/burnt part of the radiator so i know he wasnt b-s me thanks Brad` |
