Just a heads up for NSW folk, some nasty storms are coming through from the northwest, down the valley and despite what the weather bureau predicted, we did just got some hail here (Wyong Shire).

Its on a track from the NW to the SE. Anyhow just a heads up

Had a LOT of rain & Hail(about the size of 5c pieces) about an hour ago - northern parts of the Wyong Shire - twin servos up. Small enough here so hopefully no real damage. I suspect there may be more to come though.
Absolutely nailed down, then just as quickly disappeared. I got home to find that Wife had dutifully hidden the cars out of harms reach ...good girl....

Damn ... I need more rain ... I was hoping for some to head a bit further sound.

Hail or not .... most of it is rain anyway.

At work though in Chatswood ... there feels like there is a change in the air though.
Still bloody windy up here on the hill though.

Can you bottle some up it up and send it over to SA? We'll use it to top up the Murray River.

Newcastle doesnt need to worry as 9 out of 10 storms fly over and do nothing...bero maitland and nelson bay are the ones to be worried.
