i got those exact same ones, i bought mine from autobahn for $89.
Have you got an auto or manual, cause the auto ones don't fit from what i know. but for the accelrator i made my own bracket at work then drilled holes in my standard pedal, so it sits 15mm towards you more, which makes it better to heel and toe. and the brake and clutch ones fit no worries. |

Nice , i like . I have an Auto and was wondering about using the brake pedal and cover from a manual setup ( i hate the size of the auto brake pedals as it gets in the way of the left foot room a bit ) . Does anyone know if it is actually legal to use a brake pedal the same size as a manuals brake pedal on an auto ? , cheers .

Bought and paid for the pedals on Wednesday, and they arrived by courier this morning at 7.15am. They are actually from Roman Autotek in Melbourne. Fitted the brake pedal to the XR - had to trim the brake pedal (in the car) by about 10mm on the RHS, just to make the end "square". Drilled one hole through the pedal one the left side, put some silicon on the brake pedal face, and fitted the cover and screwed it in with a retaining nut on the back.
The accelerator pedal is going to be a little more involved though. Pics of both when I'm done.

The accelerator pedal should just go over the original. Just super glue, or sikaflex it down, on top of the original.

how it works is i have drilled into my standard pedal and bolted it to it with the two bolts, it now sits level with the brake pedal and i find it very easy to heel and toe. and now it is better to go from the accelerator to the brake....

That's a bit flash.
Here's a pic of my pedals installed in the XR8: More pedals - this time in the wagon:

The brake pedal is fairly easy to install:
1. Remove existing rubber cover from brake pedal. 2. Using angle grinder or hacksaw, make the top part of the brake pedal 120mm wide (cut 10 to 15mm off the right hand side and make the side straight) - see pic 3. Drill 2 5mm holes. One in the top left, and one bottom right (I drilled four, but only used 2) 4. Squeeze silastic or similar onto brake pedal 5. Fit BA pedal cover - RHS first, and pull as far left as you can, then install the bolt/screw that comes with the pedal. You will need a 4mm nut (I used a nylock) to secure the bolt. 6. Use a spirit level to get the pedal even - adjust by moving the RHS up or down slowly until it's nice and levl. Once levl, use an 8G x 12mm self tapper in the bottom right hole, to secure the pedal cover for ever.

The accelerator is a bit more difficult. To make it easier, I removed the pedal from the car, so the instructions include those steps as well
1. Undo the 2 14mm nylock nuts securing the pedal bracket to the floor 2. Pull the cable out from the bracket, and lift up. You will need to squeeze the square plastic retainig clip to push it through the bracket. 3. Push the cable through the square hole in the bracket, and remove accelerator pedal assembly from the car. 4. Using a hacksaw, cut 5mm of plastic from the bottom of the pedal. 5. With the same hacksaw, remove 10mm of plastic from the top of the pedal. 6. Using a hacksaw or a sharp stanley knife (take care if you choose this tool), trim approx 3mm of plastic the full length of the pedal on the RHS 7. Trim around 2mm off the thickness of the pedal from the back of the pedal 8. Remove the BA pedal cover from the BA pedal supplied in the kit. 9. Trial fit the pedal cover to the AU pedal. 10. Trim the pedal cover around the pivot point on the pedal. You should cut away approx 15mm length, and 3mm wide strip to allow the pedal cover to sit around the pedal pivot point. 11. If required, remove the pedal cover and trim the AU pedal plastic to make the cover fit better - it's a bit of trial and error, but doesn't take long. Just be careful with that Stanley knife. Refit the pedal cover to check your handiwork. 12. Once you are happy with the fit, remove the pedal cover and apply silastic or similar to the face of the AU plastic pedal 13. Refit the BA pedal cover, making sure it's a nice tight fit everywhere. 14. Refit pedal assembly to car (Reverse steps 1 to 3). Make sure the rubber grommet in the firewall is sealed again (mine popped out on both cars). You should now end up with pedals that look the same as the ones a couple of posts up from this one^^^^^
