Hi mad2 it certainly looks like the one if the sender unit tests OK would it be for sale ?

finally checked it out ...... it works BUT the slider contact is loose allowing side movement and no contact. this may/may not be the issue with yours?. sorry

You can usually fix this by just bending it inwards slightly.
