That's a bummer, man. Have you checked with the insurance company as to who's at fault?

1st Question: Was the driver of the Camry a resident/owner in this apartment block?

2nd Question: Was he driving quickly?

the rear bumper is 480 insprayed. get that then go to a decent repair yard and get it sprayed (one that doesnt charge and arm and a leg) and you should be rite.

are you both third party insured(ie, not comprehensively insured......)??
thats the ONLY situation that i can see where logically it could be each bears own...even then...ive never heard of the term

perhaps if you're only 3rd party...this will teach you why you should have full comp insurance.......... IMO if he hit you you shouldnt be paying a cent!

When my Fez got rear ended late August it was by two cars... Charade, who was hit in the rear by a Camry. After I saw the damage to my car, I thought it quite funny how much of a POS both the Charade and Camry were. My car needed a new plastic bumper at the back (which it now has and it looks exactly the same as before), whereas those two (late 80s Charade and late 90s Camry) were completley stuffed. The Charade was definitley a write off, and the Camry wasn't far off it.

Just reinforces my opinion that German cars > Japanese cars.

Anyone with a new car should defntly have full comp... even if it was entirely your fault you would only have to pay your excess... trust me I know :(

I hit a silly old cow in a Charade and completely stoved in her **** end but the solid lil fez barely had anything wrong apart from a cracked rad support, a spit bumper and a little bonnet dent. She stopped in the middle of the road to answer her phone but cause I hit her it was deemed my fault cause I couldn't prove it.

Cost me $600 due to age excess + standard excess then got a $100 fine in the mail and three points for driving without due care and attention.
