Default Useless Gets Into 14's!!

Congratulations Useless!! :sm_headba :

14.77 @ 92.71

Well done mate! After all the work you've put into that wagon, I'm absolutely stoked for you. Awesome stuff Stav. It's a fantastic result

And apparently he ran that 14.7 with wheelspin so I can only imagine what result traction will give him :Up_to_som

Haha,ok. I first rocked up with my new dunlops sp3000a's. Little burnout. Then stalledit up and went for it. The car had no traction right a bit past the 1000 foot line where it grabbed and resulted in personal worst of 16.6 or 16.9?

Next I put the mt et streets on. I stalled it up and it again spun a little ,grabbed flew down the 1/4 mile to a 14.77.

On the final and third run of the night ,the mickey thompsons could not give me traction again. They spun to the 330 foot mark .It got cold ,iI missed the family and went home .I know the car had more in it but when I saw the et streets could not keep me on the ground I called it a night.

Timeslip is here. http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...gAnch=imgAnch1

I think the wagon did well .I am finally pleased that the dev 4 and my crazy modding ideas worked. Thanks all of those who helped along the way and a big thank you to Croydon motorsports for tuning the car properly. Joe at crescent motorsport for installing the cam,Brendan Mock for the cam, extractors ,JonBays for his advice,Tci converters in seven hills..for 300 dollars a good converter and gear exchange at snithfield for the diff.

The biggest thanks goes to all the forum members who have assisted me along the way. Thanks guys. :

Well done. You need to update the time in your signature from 15.19, to 14.77. Now you have a V8 scarer!

Thanks guys.Next time?? I had a goal and I think I have achieved that goal. It took me a while but it worked.lol I dont think I will be running again.I dont feel the need to compete with anyone even though the car is capable of toppling the guys at the top of the list. I compete with myself and my own limitations to try and get better.

I forgot to also thank nugget for the tyres and also a big thanks to chris from Bluepower racing developments for his kindness and guidance in the background. Thanks for looking after me mate. I may never get to meet you but personally again I give you a heartfelt thanks! If you need anything from me I will reciprocate your kindness.

Yay! Good job mate.

Strange that you spun up MT's though. They might have needed a bit more heat or something.

Congratulations Stav. It's been a 14 second wagon for a long time, and its great to see it (and you) finally run the number.

Especially impressive given you only got 3 runs, and on what has been a reasonably slippery track the last few weeks. Theres no doubt its got more time in it...

And i'll say it again...that converter was the bargain of the century!!

Well done mate

A big well done Stav!!!

Mate what tyre presures were you running as Im scratching my head how you were turing them as when I ran them I was doing 3800rpm side steps no wheelspin and a little chirp into 2nd (240rwkw). Also noticed when the tyre pressure was above 20psi compared to what I ran them at (16psi) they spun real easy but at 16 they hooked up real good.

I think he said he was going to run them at 22 or 20?

Stav maybe you should have dropped the pressure a little once you realised they were a bit slippery.

Get back out there! :
