Hi, this morning when I was replacing my Fiesta's headlight bulb I found that it's washer bottle cap has gone missing (foto attached). I have no idea when that happened. Is it known to be something that can just fall off? Is it safe to just leave it without cap.

Mine was missing too.
I ended up getting some a zip lock bag, pulling it tight over the top, using a rubber band to secure, and then putting a little cut into the bag to allow it to breathe slightly if needed (like when the washers are used). Haven't had any problems doing that. I did that just so nothing gets in or water doesn't splash out onto the electrically around.
